Code Create Teach Presents: festive micro:bits!

Join us on Tuesday November 27th at Makerspace North as we gather for an evening of experimenting, learning and networking with other educators! Find out how you can use the micro:bit to bring more holiday sparkle (read flashing LEDs) into your classroom. This meetup will include a digital “crafts” table that will show you how to turn it into a fun festive ornament with rotating text, still and moving images on the LED screen. Whether you are a “newb” or a seasoned user, there will be plenty to explore and play with. Also, don’t worry if you don’t have a micro:bit, we will have enough for everyone!

Have a teacher friend who is interested? Bring them along! We promise there are more than enough micro:bits to go around.

We will be providing a pizza dinner but if you would like to bring your own food, please feel free to do so! Also, you will need to bring your own laptop in order to partake in this meetup!
