Janak Alford is the CEO of prototypeD and the lead designer of the innovation pod. He is focused on developing sustainable urban and national solutions for Canada and abroad. He uses design as a tool in conjunction with business and financial thinking to develop new economic opportunities.
Justin Holness is the digital media director of Mademill and the owner of unity entertainment, a youth-led community based organization providing a creative environment for Indigenous people to express themselves and their heritage through all forms of art, music and fashion.
Jason Alford Is a software developer and the Makerspace Director of Mademill. His expertise as a maker was responsible for the creation of the steel structure that serves as the bones of the pod. Komi Olaf is a visual artist, spoken word poet and an architectural designer with prototypeD. His work as an Afro-futurist is focused on the intersectionality of culture and race through a technological lens. He pushes his art in many directions, immersing his realistically portrayed characters in mysterious dream worlds of splendor and soul.
