Derrick and Chris both run successful CNC business out of Makerspace North and are here to share their knowledge and expertise with you. In this 4 hour workshop we will go over the basic concepts of CNC machining. This will include a tutorial on how to set up jobs in Aspire and how to control the CNC with Mach3 and WinCNC. After the software tutorial, participants will get some hands on experience while they learn how to set up the CNC. They will get to learn how to change the tool bit, secure material on the bed, control the spindle speed, and much more. At the end of the

The goal of the workshop is for participants to be able to confidently and safely utilize the machine on their own. All the participants will get to run the machine by themselves and will be making their own design for a takeaway from the workshop.

Courses are transferable to another person, but non-refundable. Please ensure they work with your schedule.
